$200 ViewPad 7e 7-inch Android Tablet Coming Soon

Order ViewSonic ViewPad 7e Android TabletThe world of affordbable budget friendly tablets continues to widen with the announcement of the impending release of the ViewPad 7e coming from the house of ViewSonic Corporation.

According to the company’s recent press release, the tablet device is expected to hit the North American market before the end of October 2011 and will be running on Android 2.3 GingerBread with a 3D "holographic visual effects," 7-inch touchscreen display (800 x 600-pixel resolution).

Backed by its proprietary RiteTouch technology, this mobile device will enable its users to easily swipe across content, zoom in and out, and scroll through emails using either a fingertip or a stylus.

Typing via touchscreen display keyboards is generally known to be kinda sluggish according to hardcore addicts of physical keyboards but ViewSonic claims that texting couldn’t be easier with the ViewPad 7e’s built-in Swype™ keyboard.

Prepackaged with Amazon Services for Android, Amazon Kindle™ for Android, Twitter, TuneIn Radio and WildTangent games, this tablet could easily serve as an e-reading/web browsing device but it lacks 3G Internet connectivity thus internet access on this ViewSonic android tablet is possible via its’ 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter.

ViewSonic’s AirSync® technology allows for instant over-the-air device updates including feature add-ons to software updates.

Other features of the ViewPad 7e include a 1GHz processor, 4GB of internal storage, a micro-HDMI port that allows for 1080p video playback, a 3-megapixel camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and a microSD card slot for adding up to 32GB of additional storage.

ViewSonic’s ViewPad 7e android tablet will be available in North America at the end of October for an ESP of $199.99. Availability in the Latin American area will be attended to in November 2011.
