I used to be obsessed with Carolina Herrera’s 212 Men in high school and so when I saw Maison Alhambra’s inspiration for it, it was an easy add to cart.
No. 2 Men is a hot, humid summer friendly freshie that smells slighly sweet, fresh, green. grassy and citrusy in the opening with some vetiver like nuances.
Thirty minutes in, the grassy accord reminds me a lot of Versencia Crystal by Maison Alhambra but the other notes in the perfume do a fantastic job of restraining it from going into that dry, grassy, urine territory which I loathe in Versencia Crystal.
No. 2 Men has a bit of an on and off mentholated smell which helps provide a much needed cooling effect in hot humid summer.
Four hours later, the perfume loses a lot of its sweet, green citrusy freshness and turns into a herbal woody, mossy and musky scent.
Longevity for this perfume varies as sometimes I get just 6hrs and on some days it hits the 10hr mark.
Just zero your mind that you need to really overspray this or carry a decant to get all day performance.
This in my opinion is a no stress blind buy.
