When people talk about dark perfumes, Lattafa’s Najdia Tribute instantly comes to mind ’cause even when the weather is cool, it still maintains its dark aura.
Just in case you’re wondering, this has absolutely zero resemblance to the OG Lattafa Najdia.
It opens smelling like a dark, powdery, herbal, floral scent with creamy blue amber and a slight touch of citrus coming in after like 2 minutes.
5 minutes in, a woody accord comes into the mix making the perfume alternate between a bitter and a sweet scent profile.
From start to finish, this is a linear scent with accords that keep fighting for dominance over one another.
One minute you’re getting strong whiffs of dark, powdery, bitter woods and amber and the next minutes you’re getting dark, leafy, herbs and florals.
The dark facets of the perfume makes this masculine whilst the creamy powdery florals makes it lean feminine so I would say this is a unisex scent profile leaning towards the feminine.
Performance is solid with this one at over 11 hours on skin with ongoing whiffs every now and then.
This is not a safe blind buy at all unless musky blue amber with dark creamy florals are your thing.
The first time I wore this, I was sick and it made me quite nauseous throughout the day until I got home from work and shed my clothing.
Even on days when I’m feeling great, it still makes me borderline nauseous.
With this one you most certainly have to go easy on the sprays.
Bye guys
