Lattafa Asad Zanzibar Perfume Review

A big shout out to all the perfume influencers that keep it real these days ’cause I don’t understand the hype around this.

Lattafa’s Asad Zanzibar opens smelling like a creamy, powdery, nutty stale dirty rag that has been left in water overnight with zero detergent and zero bleach.

A salty coconut water accord kicks in after like 5 minutes and gets pretty intense from there on

The creamy, salty, coconut water reminds me of Fragrance World’s Ophylia; a dupe for Paco Rabanne’s Olympea and thus makes the perfume smell feminine like hair care product

There’s nothing outstanding about this fragrance and it smells like something that only folks who hate remotely sweet fragrances would love.

Heck the vanilla is absolutely AWOL.

The stale accord ruined this perfume and I can just imagine how atrocious this would smell when it comes in contact with sweat and body odor.

12hrs later, the drydown is musky, peppery and metallic.

I highly do not recommend this. Kindly test before you buy.

Top: Black Pepper & Sea lavender
Heart: Salty Coconut Water & Iris
Base: Vanilla & Incense
