According to several comparison videos I’ve watched so far, Magnificent Absolute Oud 7 by Fragrance World is actually a really good dupe of YSL M7 Oud Absolu for Men.
It opens fresh, slightly sweet, spicy, oudy, a bit green, powdery and woody like pencil shavings with some citrus and amber.
30 minutes in, it turns slightly creamy with the cedarwood very much dominating the green herbal balsamic oud.
This is a fresh lightweight summer friendly take on oud…in my personal opinion.
Fragrance World basically took Oud mixed it with Cedarwood and it made summer friendly.
Magnificent Absolute Oud 7 smells like a sweet makeup/lipstick bag which makes it lean super feminine to my nose though the OG is marketed towards men.
It loses most of its fresh spicy sweetness in the drydown with the oud now dominating the cedarwood.
Performance is great at 1-2hrs of projection with longevity of 10-12hrs on skin
Windlady has reviewed this and says it smells like a 90% dupe of Lattafa’s Qaa’ed.
I don’t get that vibe at all but if you’re not a fan of Lattafa’s Qaa’ed, just sample this before getting a full bottle.
I really really love this one.
