Some months back, @skinwithlolami gifted me this perfume via @profumong_ and here are my thoughts.
When you sniff this through the nozzle, it’s giving green citrus, fresh leather and woods but on skin it opens smelling like sweet, spicy, peppery, rubbery leather.
It evolves into this ridiculosly sweet herbal leather scent once the vanilla, sugar and green herbal notes kick in around 10 minutes in.
At this point, it smells kind of gourmandish and reminds me of Joyness Oud Intro by Fragrance World but with less sugar and a super prominent leather accord.
The leather note in here comes off rubbery most of the time like a rubber doll and sometimes it smells citrusy fresh like I get in Qamar Alzeyan by MyPerfumes.
Around 30 minutes in, Wurood settles into a sweet, herbal, oudy leather vanilla scent profile. The oudy accord is more woody than skanky oud….if that makes sense.
This is a grown masculine woody leather scent that smells like something best worn dressed up for date night, a wedding, or heck even the office ….but dressed up though.
For those who might be worried about the vanilla/sugar combo, the sweetness tones down a lot around the 2hr mark as the perfume settles into a balanced slightly powdery, sweet, herbal, leather and citrus scent.
Projection: 2-3hrs Longevity: 12hrs
